![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And Seann was completly wasted as a talent, not even causing me to smile, yet alone laugh. Did anyone understand Timberlake's comments regarding Luke Wilson and Kate Hudson ("They're staring in a movie together, but have never met! Here they are.") Where was the joke? Kate and Luke just went into their lame dialogue, never making a reference to the "joke" by Timberlake. Last year's performance by Jack Black and Sarah Michelle Gellar was extremly funny (The Lord of the Rings parody alone was worth watching the entire show), but this year was completly different. I'm curious as to who the writers were for this show. Justin Timberlake should stick to singing and dancing he sure as hell can't act. Nothing was coherrent, humorous, or entertaining. But the MTV movie awards were simply horrible. I've laughed at Stiffler in both American Pie movies, and even enjoyed him in Dude Where's My Car?. While I'm not a fan of Justin Timberlake, Seann William Scott has always been funny-albiet stupid-to me. I usually check out the MTV movie awards to watch a witty, entertaining show that delivers a unique award show (Chewbacca winning a life-time achievement award as example). Gollum: You're all bastards! MTV *sucks*! *We hates you all*! And if you think a shitty little tub of gold popcorn is gonna remotely make up for everything *we've* suffered, you're sadly fucking *mistaken*! Gollum: Frankly, nothing can compensate for the long hours and low pay and miserable experience we've had making this fucking movie. Gollum: *Shame* on you! Shame on you! Go fuck yourself! Gollum: We're not gonna thank anyone, no no! Not you, not MTV, and not those pixel pushing pindicks at Weta Digital! And Peter Jackson, my precious, who do you think you are, you fucking hack? Gollum: Piss off, Serkis! You stupid fat woofish fucking turd! Gollum: Dobby? Dobby's a fucking fag!Īndy Serkis: That's enough, Gollum. ![]() Gollum: You don't have any friends! Nobody likes you! Gollum: You're a liar, and a thief! It's mine! *I* won it! It was me! We only won because of *me*! Yet 17 years after he unleashed his wrath on the city that turned its back on him, it's hard to say that today's New York rappers aren't offsprings of the trolling, aggressive, but playfully entertaining style he birthed.Andy Serkis: I would like to say a big thank you to all the MTV fans, to all the Lord of the Rings fans, and to everybody who worked on Gollum. And it's because they feel the same way."Ĭritics used to think that 50 Cent destroyed the New York rap scene, and in a way he did. "The younger artists doing it over, they made it that. "They made it that for me," 50 told Carl Chery, Spotify’s Head of Urban Music. This moved Fif to thank the younger generation for keeping his music alive. While it's timelessness is undeniable, new life was breathed into "Many Men" when acts 21 Savage and Pop Smoke put their twist on the record. Despite the track being nearly 20 years old, "Many Men" gives fans the same feeling they first felt when Fif named Darryl "Hommo" Baum as his shooter. Last week, Spotify named 50 Cent's "Many Men" the most influential song of 2020. But like he often does, Jay-Z might have described it best when he said, "50 came through like hurricanes do." This whirlwind of influence is still being felt as the inner-bands of 50's debut album continues to cause damage. It's hard to understand the impact 50 Cent had on culture when he first dropped. ![]()
